
Julienned Vegetable Stir-Fry
This vibrant and colorful stir-fry highlights the beauty of julienned vegetables. A quick and healthy dish that's perfect as a standalone meal or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 yellow bell pepper, julienned
- 1 medium zucchini, julienned
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the julienned carrots and broccoli florets, and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the bell peppers and zucchini, and continue to stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, and toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips
To add protein, include tofu, chicken, or shrimp during the stir-fry. Pair with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
