Ingredients

  • Bacon bits
  • 8 medium baking potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 8 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 medium white onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place a large pot of water on the stove.
  2. Add in the peeled.
  3. Cubed potatoes.
  4. Get the water up to a boil.
  5. Then boil for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are cooked.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Drain water.
  8. Place to the side.
  9. Sautee onion for 6 minutes.
  10. Add in the flour.
  11. Using a whisk, mix well for 30 seconds to one minute.
  12. You want to keep whisking.
